Ethos Cannabis, a multi-state dispensary operator headquartered in Philadelphia, has officially announced the opening of its medical dispensary in Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, located at 470 Home Drive. 

Ethos is one of eight Clinical Registrant (CR) licensees in Pennsylvania that is conducting research related to medical cannabis. Ethos collaborates in its research efforts with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, which is one of the country’s leading medical schools and is certified by the Pennsylvania DOH as an Academic Clinical Research Center (ACRC).

The location in Pittsburgh represents Ethos’ third clinical registrant dispensary and fifth medical dispensary in Pennsylvania. Ethos’ flagship dispensary in Philadelphia and their Montgomeryville, PA location both opened as part of this program earlier this year. Ethos will be opening an additional three dispensaries under this license over the next six months.

The staff at the new dispensary will collaborate with Jefferson’s research team to pre-screen potential patients for enrollment in the clinical trials, participate in research conversations, give feedback about what patients in the dispensary are reporting and relay frequently asked questions. Additionally, they will provide Jefferson with product specific information about all cannabis products that each patient enrolled in the study has purchased.
