Yes, one day there will most likely be a composite made from hemp that can pass the rigorous testing needed to prove that it is safe for building aircraft with. In this specific case, the fabulous claims that come from Derek Kesek, CEO of  HempEarth Group Ltd. are far from the truth.

“The hemp plane is slated to take to the skies for the first time later this year, no less than from Kitty Hawk in North Carolina which is also the same place where the Wright Brothers had the take-off that changed the face of aviation as we know it today.”

This is a statement from 2017, still no plane.

Can we see it?

This hemp plane was supposed to take off in 2017, but there has been no sign of the plane. Obviously, if he claimed it would take off, there had to be a hemp plane, right? Can we see it in the hangar or maybe out on the runway? What is the N-number, the license of the aircraft? It turns out a company out of Sebastian Florida, called Velocity Aircraft, is mentioned in the posts from HempEarth and a long-time Cannabis advocate and co-author of the first successful hemp legislation in Colorado, Jason Lauve, gave them a call. Give them a call to verify that the plane has not been built.

As you can hear the truth from Velocity themselves, this raises some serious questions, not only about HempEarth, but about other companies and people who have elevated themselves into the top of the Cannabis influencers that you may see in the media.

After doing a recent search on Google, it appears as if the article on the High Times website has been removed with no explanation. This deserves a follow up as to what the reason behind their choice is. Please send your own inquiries.

Damaged Runway

The story about this scam was discovered because people kept asking questions and they either received no reply or were given information that just did not make sense. Some of the people believed in the idea and invested in helping Derek get off the ground, but instead, he is bailing out of planes with a parachute made of his targets. He and his CEO jumped with Costa Rica Tropical Skydiving in Quepos.

Why not just let this go? Because people have suffered from the actions of Derek Kesek, including a person who was expecting CBD oil and received something other than what they needed. There are other stories too and the hope is more people speak up about their experiences. We understand that multiple agencies are looking for him. If you have information about him, please contact your local authorities.

Kesek also claims that he has been developing a hemp-based fuel in Costa Rica. As of this writing, cultivation of hemp in Costa Rica is not happening, at least legally.
