224 – Number of stores closed in New York’s crackdown on illicit cannabis sales

In just two weeks, the New York Cannabis Enforcement Task Force conducted 329 inspections of stores suspected of selling cannabis without a license. As of May 24, 224 of those stores had been closed. That translates to closures of more than two-thirds of the stores that were inspected.
