Travis Best, a Springfield native who formerly played in the NBA, has been announced as a co-owner of a cannabis dispensary looking to open in his home city. The dispensary, Lemonnade, is majority-owned by Brittany Washumare, a Western Massachusetts resident who is also a certified economic empowerment applicant with the state Cannabis Control Commission.
