New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) said in his State of the State address that “we are on the verge” of implementing the voter-approved legalization of marijuana—but he did not mention the latest legislative blow up that’s impeded cannabis progress.

Washtenaw County, Michigan’s prosecuting attorney announced that his office won’t pursue most marijuana and psychedelics cases—”regardless of the amount at issue.”

North Dakota activists filed a proposed marijuana legalization measure they hope to qualify for the state’s 2022 ballot.

Activists in Washington, D.C. are launching a “Joints for Jabs” campaign that involves giving away free marijuana to reward people for getting coronavirus vaccines.
