A new cannabis infused dining experience is launching in Ferndale this month.

2 Dope Chefz, founded by local restaurateurs April Forbes and Key Locke, will host its first pop-up dinner at 6 p.m. on Jan. 11 at a private location in Ferndale. The duo is planning to host a series of pop-ups throughout Michigan before taking the concept to other states.

Forbes is a Pontiac-based pastry chef and owner of April’s Famous Bakes. Locke, a member of the board of the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, owns and operates a vegan food company PHAT VGAN and a record store in Pontiac.
