OREGON: Indo Expo, the country’s leading business-to-business forum for the cannabis industry, announced its return to the Portland Expo Center on August 3 and 4 as the industry both matures and continues to rapidly evolve. Nowhere else can producers, processors and retailers have access to such a wide array of products and services for the cannabis and hemp industry under one roof. In addition to access to hundreds of exhibitors, attendees will be able to learn from some of the industry’s most renowned experts at seminars and demonstrations throughout the weekend.
“Cannabis growers who attend this year’s Indo Expo will be very pleasantly surprised to see the continued expansion of opportunities to grow with the cannabis industry. Not only will they have access to hundreds of exhibitors and a wealth of information shared through the seminars, but almost as importantly, they will have the ability to interact and network with all those industry leaders who have been at the forefront of turning the legalized cannabis trade into a multibillion-dollar enterprise,” said Chris Olson, Executive Director of Indo Expo.
Indo Expo guests this year will also find an expanded presence on how to capitalize on the rapidly expanding hemp market. With the passage of the Hemp Farming Act of 2018 as part of the U.S. Farm Bill, exhibitors will be displaying ways to turn hemp into everything from food and beverage items to an array of apparel and accessories, beauty products, pet supplies and virtually everything that touches consumers’ everyday lives.
“What I am particularly excited to see is that after decades of hearing about unlocking the potential of hemp, that day has come. Hemp is back in a big way. Hemp flower can now be legally sold in all 50 states and will overlap with dozens of other industries to be turned into food, fuel, fiber, medicine and more. The opportunities are endless and attendees should leave Indo Expo emboldened that after decades of starts and stops, hemp is here to stay and change the way we live.”
Seminars and panel discussions feature some of the industry’s most knowledgeable experts on legal and political issues, extraction and processing, cultivation, genetics, and other important issues that both confront and open doors to attendees who seek to maximize their cannabis and hemp businesses.
Indo Expo shows in Denver, San Francisco and Portland are the only places where attendees have the opportunity to interact with such a large cross section of cannabis industry leaders who have the experience and knowledge to share with those interested in capitalizing on the business.
The Portland show on Saturday, August 3, is for industry professionals and trade only. Sunday, August 4, is for both trade and the general public.
