CEA Advisors and its international partners have announced the availability of the Growtainer, a fully equipped, plug-and-play cultivation facility, specially developed for cannabis.

The 20-foot or 40-foot units are fully insulated and designed for maximum efficiency and workflow, with a separate utility area and climate-controlled vertical production spaces for cloning and multi-layer mother plant storage. The containers also feature an ebb-and-flow irrigation system, a state-of-the-art water monitoring and dosing system and a high-pressure fog system. Each production area is equipped with energy-efficient LEDs, offering wavelength and intensity specifically designed for cloning and vegetative growth. The LEDs have adjustable light levels from 50 to 100 micromoles for optimized root establishment; the mother plant storage area provides up to 700 micromoles for faster vegetative growth.
